Women’s Health Link opened in 2013 to help close the gap between women in need and healthcare providers. Since it opened, it has been a free referral resource in Fort Wayne, Indiana for women seeking physical, emotional, spiritual or mental healthcare, and provides a helping hand to women as they seek providers and navigate the often too complicated healthcare process. Though not a healthcare provider, Women’s Health Link uses their extensive network of community health care services to connect women to service providers and ensure they receive the care they deserve. In addition to their referral services, Women’s Health Link is now providing pre-pregnancy education in Fort Wayne’s urban community. This education initiative is delivered primarily in Fort Wayne neighborhoods known for high rates of teen pregnancy and infant mortality.
